Binged all 5 seasons of that crime doc in 3 nights, now I'm paranoid
Last week I got sucked into that true crime series about the small town jewelry heist in Amarillo. I told myself one episode before bed on Tuesday, next thing I know it's 2 AM and I'm on season 3. By Thursday I finished all 42 episodes and now I'm double checking my front door lock every hour. The worst part is I can't stop thinking about the forensic accountant who cracked the case, that guy was a legend. My coworker said I looked like a zombie at our Friday meeting and I just blamed allergies. Has anyone else binge watched something so hard that it messed with your daily routine for a few days? I need a lighter show to reset my brain, preferably something with zero murder in it.
Did you end up googling local security camera prices at 3 in the morning too? Because that was my low point after I watched that one about the warehouse heist. Look, the trick is to pick something boring on purpose, like a baking competition or those home renovation shows where they just paint cabinets. Also, walk around your place once and actually check stuff, that kills the loop way faster than just relocking the door. I did a week of cozy mystery novels after my last true crime spiral, no dead bodies, just stolen recipes. Give it two days and your brain will reset, I promise.
