Appreciation post: my neighbor hung old CDs on her porch and I thought it looked trashy, then I counted zero strikes there all summer
She lives at 214 Maple and put up like 15 CDs on fishing line after a cardinal died on her slider, and I honestly figured it was just a weird yard thing. I have had 4 strikes on my back window since May, so I finally asked her about it and she said the trick is spacing them a few inches apart so the flash covers the whole pane. Does the spacing actually matter that much, or would one of those dot sticker rolls do the same job for cheaper?
