The diner window on Route 9 killed a cardinal while I ate breakfast
Saw it happen from my booth last Tuesday and noticed their big front glass had no decals at all, so I went home and put dots on every pane that faces my feeder. Anyone tried the UV marker pens instead of tape dots, and do they actually last through a summer?

Isn't one dead bird just nature doing its thing though? I've had a feeder up for years and never bothered with decals, and honestly the window strikes are pretty rare.
