Our group spent a whole month arguing over what 'counts' as a book

I mean, it started simple enough when someone suggested a graphic novel for next month. Idk, maybe it's just me but I thought it would be a quick vote. Instead, we had this huge debate over whether audiobooks, graphic novels, or even really long articles were valid picks. It got so heated we had to pause the actual reading for like three meetings just to talk about the rules. One person in Chicago even left the group over it, saying we were being too strict. We finally made a list of what's allowed, but it took us four full weeks to agree. Has your club ever had to make official rules like that?

Man, that sounds exhausting. What ended up on the final allowed list, and was there anything you had to leave off that you personally thought should have made the cut?

Yeah, my buddy had to cut his favorite hot sauce because the label said "spices" without listing them. The final list was just salt, pepper, and olive oil. He really missed that sauce, james92, said it made his meal prep bearable.
