My friend's fiddle leaf fig went from bare to bushy in 8 weeks.
She moved it from a dark corner to a spot with morning light. Now it's got like 12 new leaves. What's the fastest plant glow-up you've seen?

Yeah, light is everything for those. I had a peace lily that was just sitting there for months, maybe one sad leaf. Gave it a good soak and put it right by my east window, not even direct sun. It pushed out five flowers in like three weeks. Sometimes they just need that one simple change.

Actually peace lilies are low light plants, they hate direct sun. That east window spot probably gave it bright indirect light which is perfect. The soak helped more than the move, they're drama queens that wilt when thirsty.

Wow, five flowers in three weeks? That's pretty wild. I guess peace lilies can bounce back fast when they're happy, but I wonder if it was mostly the water wake-up call and not so much the light change. I've had plants perk up from a deep soak before but then go back to looking blah if I move them somewhere different. They're so finicky half the time it feels like luck more than anything specific.
