Imported bricks showed up a month late and messed up my whole schedule

What do you do when your materials don't come on time?

Ugh, that's the worst. I had the same thing happen with a lumber delivery last spring, threw everything off for weeks.

Yeah reminds me of when my roofing materials got delayed. Sat for two weeks with just tarps on half my house, @seth_walker5. Every time it rained I was running around with buckets. Mold started growing in the attic. Contractor kept saying "tomorrow," but tomorrow never came. Whole thing turned a simple re-roof into a nightmare.

Oh man, that "tomorrow" promise is the biggest red flag. It's never just one tomorrow, it's a whole chain of them. What starts as a small delay just snowballs into so much extra damage and stress, and you're left holding the bucket, literally. It makes you lose all trust in anyone giving you a timeline.
