That Tuesday everything went right on a retaining wall job

Laid 280 bricks in 6 hours without a single chip or misalignment, even the mortar mixed perfect in 95 degree heat, has anyone else had a day where the stars just aligned for them?

Heard a guy at the supply yard say some jobs just have that flow to them where everything clicks. Sounds like you hit that groove perfect. What kind of wall was it, a garden one or something taller?

You ever notice how flow tends to happen when you're not overthinking it? Feels like the wall was just as ready to be built as I was ready to build it. It was a short retaining wall, maybe two feet high, but the stone stacked and locked like it had somewhere to be.
