Shoutout to the thrift store glassware section for making my apartment look like a hotel lobby
Hit the Goodwill in Oakland last Saturday and grabbed six mismatched crystal tumblers for 2 bucks total. They catch the light like the fancy ones my boss has, and guests keep asking where I got them. Anyone else stock up on random glassware instead of buying sets?

Mismatched glassware is the one thing that actually looks intentional when you're broke. I picked up a thick green wine glass and a tiny sherry glass at a yard sale and they get more compliments than anything I've bought new. The trick is sticking to one color palette, like all clear or all amber, so the chaos reads as a style choice instead of a mess.
