Swapped my $4 plastic shower curtain liner for a $12 fabric one and the whole bathroom stopped feeling like a rental
I put up with that cheap liner sticking to my legs and getting cloudy every 3 weeks for two apartments in a row, then spent $12 on a fabric one at Target and it just hangs right and washes clean. Who else made this exact swap and did you bother with the little weights at the bottom or skip them?
My buddy did this same swap last year after his girlfriend kept bugging him about the liner sticking to her every time she showered. He grabbed a fabric one on a whim and called me two weeks later saying he should've done it years ago. He skipped the weights at first and the thing kept billowing in toward him like a ghost, so he clipped on the ones that came in the pack and it hangs straight now. His old plastic liner used to get that pink slime stuff along the bottom edge, and the fabric one just goes in the wash with towels and comes out fine. The weights matter way more than you'd think if your curtain rod is high or you get any air moving in there. Hit up the fabric route and don't skip the little clips, they're cheap and they fix the one annoying part.
