Showerthought: I grab the cheapest chicken even though I know how it's raised.
The group always pushes for free-range meat to be kind, but my wallet can't handle that cost. It's a tough spot between saving cash and feeling okay about dinner.

Honestly, how much does it really matter? Think about all the times you grab a quick burger or frozen meal. That meat likely comes from similar places. We're all just trying to feed ourselves without spending too much. Getting hung up on guilt over every grocery trip is exhausting. Just eat the chicken and save your energy for stuff that actually changes things.

Man, I used to think that way too until I saw what @lee.diana was talking about. Now I can't unsee it and it actually does feel different.

Wow, my friend switched to local eggs after a farm visit and never looked back. @the_richard, but if we all think it doesn't matter, what changes?
