Spent 45 minutes trying to get dried rice out of a colander because I didn't rinse it right after cooking

It took three rounds of soaking in soapy water and a toothpick to clear each little hole, and by the time I was done the leftover pasta I was gonna eat for lunch had gone cold anyone else had this happen with their colander?

Forty five minutes and three rounds of soaking for some dried rice? You could have just run it under hot water for ten seconds and poked the stubborn bits out with a fork. Cold pasta is a minor inconvenience, not a tragedy. Throw it in the microwave for thirty seconds and move on with your day. This is the kind of problem that solves itself if you just don't make it a big deal.

Honestly @the_thomas is right, people way overthink stuff like stuck on rice or cold pasta. Tbh just take the easy route and move on, it's not that deep.
