My uncle said skip the airport bus in Lisbon, so I walked 2 miles with my bag
My uncle swore the Aerobus was a tourist trap and I should just walk from the airport to my hostel near Rossio to save 4 euros. Took me 45 minutes in July heat with a 30 pound pack, and I was soaked through before I even checked in. For 4 euros, was he right or is he just cheap, and has anyone found a middle ground like the metro card?

Man, my friend did the exact same thing on a dare from his cousin and ended up buying a 6 euro gelato out of pure defeat at the top of the hill. Just grab the metro card next time, it's like 7 euros for a day and your shirt stays dry.
