Finally got my grocery bill under $75 a week

I started planning meals around the Kroger sales flyer in my town and stopped buying snacks on impulse. Last month I cut my spending from $120 to $75 every week just by making a list and sticking to it. Has anyone else found a trick that worked this well for cutting food costs?

Ever try just buying the ugly produce? I swear the weird shaped carrots taste the same.

I used to think coupons were pointless, but saving $40 a week changed my mind.

How do you even find that many good coupons, willowc60? I only save maybe $15 a week clipping from my grocery store's app. That $40 a week adds up to a real chunk of change over a year.
