A quick note about my habit tracker mistake
In my experience, I filled my tracker with too many items and it became a chore. Your mileage may vary, but cutting back made it useful again.

Ugh, exactly... that "list of fails" feeling is the worst. It stops being about building good habits and just becomes this nagging guilt trip you ignore. I finally got it when I saw my own tracker was just a record of what I didn't do, which is the opposite of helpful. Now I only track the two or three things that actually matter to me that day, even if they're small. The win is in doing it, not in having a perfect chart.

Oh man, I did the exact same thing. My advice? Start with just one or two habits you actually want to build. Adding more feels good at first, but then it's just a list of fails.

My January tracker had 14 items, from flossing to daily journaling. It felt overwhelming by week two. When you added more habits, was there a specific moment you realized it switched from being helpful to feeling like a chore? Like, did you ignore it for three days straight first?
