Just realized my weekly spread is way better with a pencil than a pen

Tbh, I used a black Micron pen for months and would get so mad when I messed up a date or a layout. Last week I switched to a basic 0.5mm mechanical pencil for the whole setup. The difference is huge because I can erase and move stuff around before I commit. It took my setup time from like an hour to maybe 20 minutes. Anyone else find a simple tool change made their bujo way less stressful?

My pencil eraser has seen more action this month than my entire pen collection.

Okay but is it really that deep? It's just an eraser getting used up, not some big statement on your writing habits. Maybe you just made a lot of small mistakes lately, or you're using a really soft eraser. I've had weeks where I go through a whole eraser just doodling. It doesn't mean your pens are sad and lonely, it just means you needed a pencil this month.
