My daily spread went from 2 pages of lists to one tiny square and I get way more done
I used to fill two full pages every morning with tasks and by Thursday half of it was just copied over. Back in January I switched to a single 2 inch square in the corner for the 3 things that actually matter that day. My migration rate dropped from like 15 leftover tasks a week to maybe 3. It feels weird how much lighter my head is with less writing on the page. Does anyone else keep a small spot for the real priorities and a bigger catch-all somewhere else?
This is exactly what happened to me. I had this giant running list and it was basically a graveyard of stuff I felt bad about, so moving to a tiny box for just three things made the whole page feel less like a debt I owed. My carryover dropped a ton too, and the weird part is I finish more now with way less written down. The big list lives in a notes app I check once a week, and the small square is the only thing I look at during the day. Something about the empty space on the page stops me from treating every stray thought like a job.
