Tried a 1.0mm pen for my bujo and it wrecked my entire weekly spread

Switched to a super fine tip thinking it'd look cleaner, but the ink bled through six pages of my Leuchtturm and now I can't read anything on the back side of those spreads. Has anyone else had a pen unexpectedly destroy their whole notebook like this?

Six pages of bleed is definitely annoying, but "wrecked my entire notebook" feels a little dramatic to me. You can still read most of the pages backwards, right? Ghosting and bleed through are just part of the game with a Leuchtturm, especially with wet ink. Did you actually test the pen before committing to a whole weekly spread, or did you just go for it?

Ugh "wrecked my entire weekly spread" is EXACTLY how I felt when my favorite gel pen started skipping on my calendar. Here's the thing I noticed - it's like how when you buy a new brand of something you swear you'll love, then it totally fails you when you need it most. I've had this happen with cheap highlighters bleeding through textbooks too, and now I test every new pen on scrap paper before I let it touch my bujo. The Leuchtturm ghosting is bad enough without making it worse with the wrong ink.
