Wasted $60 on a fancy bumper sticker material that peeled off in 2 days

I ordered a roll of that glossy vinyl from some online shop thinking it would hold up better than regular paper. Slapped a batch of my custom designs on friends' cars and by day two the edges were curling up like crazy. Seriously, the yellow one on my neighbor's Honda looked like a sunburned scab. Anyone else tried a material that just bombed on paint?

Sounds like that vinyl was more of a suggestion than a sticker. Must've been made out of hopes and dreams.

Noticed this in more than just stickers honestly. Every single instruction manual I've ever opened seems to be written by someone who assumes I already know what they're talking about. The "attach bracket A" assumes I know which side is up, the torque specs come after I've already tightened things once, and the diagrams are always drawn from an impossible angle. It's like the whole world is designed by people who've never actually tried to use their own stuff. Makes you wonder if they even test this stuff before sending it out.
