A warehouse manager in Reno showed me his one-page daily sheet and it changed how I run huddles
I was touring a 40,000 sq ft facility outside Reno for a possible vendor deal about 3 months ago. The manager pulled a single laminated page off his clipboard and said, "I quit doing long reports because my crew stopped reading them." It had just 5 lines: open orders, late shipments, staffing gaps, safety notes, and one thing to fix by noon. My own team was drowning in a 12-page morning packet that nobody actually looked at. Curious if anyone here has cut their daily ops report down like this and what you kept on it.

Man, I feel this in my bones. We had a 9 page packet every morning and I swear people just flipped to the last page to sign it. When we finally cut it to a half sheet with late orders, people out, and the one thing that had to get done, huddle time went from 15 minutes of nobody listening to like 5 minutes of actual talking. The safety line is smart too, we always shoved that stuff to page 7 where it died.
