Crossed 200 clients on my books and it felt completely wrong
I hit 200 regular grooming clients last month according to my booking software, and honestly I laughed when I saw it. For years I thought success meant packing the schedule wall to wall, so I kept saying yes to every new dog that called. Then I did the math one slow Tuesday and realized my actual profit per hour was higher back at 140 clients because I had time for walk-ins and last minute matting fixes. The 200th client pushed my waitlist to 3 weeks out but my daily income barely moved from what it was 6 months ago. Has anyone else capped their own client list on purpose and seen their numbers stay flat or go up?
