Finally nailed our inventory counts after 6 months of chaos
We kept missing variance on the floor because nobody owned the cycle count schedule, so I spent last week just mapping out when each aisle gets scanned and why. First full pass came within 1% of system numbers, which beats the 7% gap we had in March. Has anyone else tried assigning counts to specific shifts instead of doing one big weekend sweep? That was the change that did it for us.

I'd be walking around suspicious of my own count sheet, wondering where the other 6% was hiding.
