Lost half a case of ribeyes to a dull band saw blade on a Friday rush

Was breaking down a whole ribeye at my shop in Des Moines last Friday when the blade started wandering and chewed up 6 steaks into ragged strips. I swapped in a fresh blade, dropped the feed pressure, and got the rest of the case clean, but that trim went straight into the grind pile. Anyone else keep a spare blade within arm's reach during a busy afternoon?
