My old man broke down whole hogs with a hand saw, I use a bandsaw now and I still feel weird about it
Back in the 90s at his shop in Modesto we did everything by feel, now I run a 3 HP bandsaw and cut a whole hog in 25 minutes flat. Took me two years to admit the saw does cleaner work on the ribs than I ever did. Any of you old timers still reach for the hand saw out of habit?
