My electrician buddy scared me straight about zip ties

Was talking to my neighbor who's an electrician while I was trying to hide my cable mess behind the TV stand. He saw me using those cheap plastic zip ties and said 'you're gonna regret those when you need to swap one cable out in 6 months.' Never thought about it that way but he's right - I already have three zip ties I had to cut off last week because I added a new streaming box. Now I'm looking at velcro straps instead, anybody else make that switch and feel dumb for not doing it sooner?

Huh, yeah that's a good point. I switched to velcro wraps a couple years back and never looked back.

@david_henderson6 what brand did you go with? I'm still on the fence about which ones hold up.
