Went to my buddy's place and his TV setup gave me actual anxiety

I was over at Dave's house last night watching the game and I couldn't even focus because of the cable mess behind his TV. There were like 6 different cords just dangling down the wall, plus a power strip sitting on the floor with dust bunnies all over it. He's got a soundbar, a game console, a streaming box, and a cable box all plugged into one surge protector that's barely visible under the pile. I wanted to say something but didn't want to be rude, you know? Has anyone else walked into someone's house and just felt stressed looking at their cord situation?

Wait, isn't that typically an eight-cord situation with all those devices though?

Read somewhere these setups can actually handle six cords fine with a decent splitter.
