Had to choose between a ladder lift or crawling through a nasty crawlspace
Got a job in a old house in Cincy last week and the attic access was basically a 12x12 hole. I picked the crawlspace instead cause I'm scared of heights, but ended up knee-deep in mouse poop and missed my lunch break. Anyone else ever pick the less obvious route and immediately regret it?

Well, did you at least find anything cool up there or just regret and mouse poop?

Honestly it was mostly regret and mouse poop... but I did find an old box of baseball cards from the 90s up there. Turns out my dad stashed them away and forgot about them. Nothing worth big money, but there were some cool Ken Griffey Jr. and Cal Ripken Jr. cards I pulled out. Also found a vintage Polaroid camera that still works, just needed new batteries. So not a total loss, but definitely had to scrub my hands for ten minutes after touching everything.
