My foreman Jerry swore by using silicone spray on every coax connector back in 2017

I thought he was just being lazy or cheap. But I started doing it after a bad batch of signal loss on a 12-unit apartment job near Denver. Turns out it prevents corrosion way better than the dry connections I was doing. Has anyone else had a old timer teach them something that actually worked long term?

Yeah I used to think Jerry was just messing around, but watching that clip again changed my mind. He had to know exactly how that was going to play out, the way he set it up was too perfect. There's no way that was an accident, not with the timing and everything.
