Showerthought: My last install was ruined by a puppy, how do you guys handle pets on site?
Looking for ways to secure cables when animals are around without making the place look messy.

Funny how our homes fill up with cables everywhere, from the TV to phone chargers. Those plastic adhesive clips that stick to baseboards are a lifesaver, keeping cords tight against the wall. For bigger setups, those flat cord channels you can paint over hide everything neatly. Sometimes just routing things behind a heavy piece of furniture is the easiest fix, out of sight and out of chewing range.

You mentioned those adhesive clips keeping cords tight against the wall. I read a blog post that suggested using Velcro strips for a less permanent fix. The writer said it works well for grouping cords behind entertainment centers. I tried it in my own living room and it does look tidier. Still, just tucking everything behind a bookcase is my lazy way out.

Honestly, the lazy way is the best way.
