I just hit 300 nights in my old two-person tent

I was cleaning it out after a trip to the Red River Gorge and counted the tally marks I've been making inside the stuff sack. It's a basic model I got for $80 about five years ago. I never expected a simple tent to hold up through that many storms and setups. Has anyone else had a piece of gear last way longer than you thought it would?
