Built a solid oak coffee table and my level said it was off by 3 degrees

I used a cheap hardware store level the whole time and it wasn't until my client pulled out a Stabila that we saw my table looked straight but was actually listing like a drunk sailor.

Did you see that comparison video where they tested like 20 different levels?

I actually watched that one and was surprised by how much the cheaper ones held up on basic tasks. But the torque consistency across different battery levels seemed to vary way more than I expected. Did they mention if they normalized the battery charge before testing? Because a half-dead 20V tool will obviously underperform a fresh one, but that's more about the user than the tool itself.
