Vent: I see so many guys still using a 4-foot level for framing long walls and it's a total waste of time.

Switched to a 6-foot level on a recent build in Boise and the difference in getting a wall plumb and straight in one shot, instead of constantly checking and adjusting, was like night and day.

My crew in Phoenix has been using 4-foot levels for years on tract homes. We just check the middle and ends, it adds maybe two minutes per wall. That extra two feet on a 6-footer seems like overkill when you're banging out twenty identical walls a day. It's just another tool to haul around.

Hey @kevin_hernandez83, what happens when you hit a long bow between those check points?

Yeah, Kevin, those two minutes add up... to a nice long coffee break.
