Was at the old Sears in downtown Tacoma yesterday and the carpet in the auto center is still the original 90s stuff.

It's that classic commercial loop pile, dark blue with gray specks. The seams are still perfect, no buckling at all after what, 30 years? Made me think about the glue and pad they must have used back then. Everything now feels like it's about speed, but that floor is a time capsule. What's the oldest install you've seen that's still holding up strong?

Used to think it was just a bad batch, but @finley524 is right about the delam. Saw a panel come apart last week and it was a total mess. Changed my whole view on the material.
