I grabbed one at the Shell on 5th and Maple last Tuesday out of pure desperation, expecting dry meat and sadness. Instead, it was juicier than the $11 one from the grocery deli, and I turned the carcass into two lunches plus a soup base. The trick? Check the sell-by sticker, they only discount the ones with same-day dates and those are the freshest. Anyone else ever score a weird bargain at a place you'd never expect, or am I just lucky?
