My neighbor's one line about my recycling bins fixed my alley chaos
She said 'you stack them wrong for the truck arm' and after I switched to putting the blue one on the right side, the city pickup hasn't left a single can tipped over in my Wicker Park alley for 3 months straight, has anyone else figured out the exact order that works for their pickup crew?

Ha, that's wild! I totally disagree though. My alley crew in Logan Square couldn't care less about the order, they just huck everything in from any angle. I actually had the blue bin on the right for months and they still knocked it over every single week. Turns out the real fix for me was putting the bins out with the handles facing the street, not the truck. Order did nothing. Sounds like you just got lucky with a consistent driver who actually looks before he grabs.
