Finally got my apartment building to switch to a compost pickup service

I kept seeing neighbors put food scraps in the regular trash, which just creates methane in the landfill. After showing our property manager the cost was only $25 a month for the whole building, they agreed to sign up. Has anyone else had luck getting a landlord on board with something like this?

Did your building manager need a lot of convincing? My buddy had to actually show his the math on trash bag savings from less smelly garbage to get a yes.

How did you find a service that cheap? My old building manager always said it was too expensive. That's awesome you got them to see the real cost. I tried for months and just got a lot of shrugs. It feels impossible sometimes. You give me a little hope to maybe try again.
