My neighbor keeps their house at 65 in a Texas summer, and their ancient unit finally gave out during a 105 degree heatwave. The compressor ran constantly for three days straight before the breaker tripped and killed it for good. Anyone else watch neighbors waste power like that and wonder how we ever sell people on efficiency?
