Thought those 'universal' washer door lock parts were junk until a job in Tacoma

Ever think you just got lucky with that one part? Most of those cheap fixes fail fast and leave the customer mad at you.

I was torquing seatpost bolts way too tight for like 15 years. A carbon frame with a hairline crack near the binder was my wake-up call.

Actually, torque wrenches need calibration too.

I thought 'Overcooked' was just a dumb cooking game until my sister made me try it.

My husband bought Moving Out thinking it was a chill moving simulator. Ten minutes in, we were screaming at each other to throw the couch out the second story window while the physics went crazy. It's funny how these games reveal who cracks under pressure in real life.

My friend called couch co-op a 'dead genre' and it made me mad

Yeah, the "dead genre" line got me too... I used to kinda agree until my brother made me play Overcooked 2 with him. Trying to shout orders while the kitchen is on fire and you keep throwing ingredients wrong... it's pure chaos but you have to actually work as a team. It's nothing like playing online where you can just mute everyone. Robinson.holly is right about "It Takes Two" too, games like that just hit different when you're in the same room.

That time a ceiling seam popped in a brand new Phoenix build

My buddy Mark tried to rush a drywall patch in his bathroom last year. He only gave it like two hours before painting, and the whole thing bubbled up. It looked awful. That patience thing @sage286 mentioned is key, you really do have to wait for it to fully cure.
