Buddy convinced me to try a $40 coolant mister on my Bridgeport
I was just running dry on my manual mill for years and dealing with crap finishes. One of the old timers at a job shop in Detroit told me to grab a Frost Cool Mister and I figured why not. For 40 bucks it's been a game changer on aluminum and steel, no more burned edges. Anyone else run a cheap mister setup or do you just flood coolant it?

Man, that's awesome, glad a cheap mister worked out for you.

@roseb62 hit the nail on the head, cheap misters are way underrated for what they cost. The hidden angle nobody talks about is how much less mess you deal with compared to flood coolant - no puddles to mop up or cutting fluid dripping all over your shoes. Keeps the shop way cleaner and your wife won't kill you for tracking coolant through the house.
