That $120 coolant mister was a total scam until it wasn't
Picked up a cheap fog cooling setup off eBay, the kind that sprays mist onto the cutter, and it just made a mess for a week straight. Then I flipped the nozzle angle by accident, and now it drops tool temps by 40 degrees on our Haas in Phoenix. Anyone else had to fight a budget accessory for days before it clicked?
Did you actually measure that 40 degree drop, or are we talking about a guess based on how it feels? A week of coolant spraying everywhere sounds like a clogged line or bad pressure, not a quick fix. Either way, if it works now, cool, but I'd keep a backup plan before trusting that thing on a real run.
