That time a coolant line blew on a Friday night in Tacoma

Running a big aluminum job on our old Haas VF2. About 8 PM, just me left in the shop. Heard a pop, then a hiss. Coolant line to the spindle let go, spraying everywhere. Shut it down, killed the main air. Had to cut a new length of hose from the shop stock and reclamp it. Took an hour to clean up the mess. Anyone else had a coolant disaster right before a weekend?

Ugh, been there. You keep a spare length of hose and some clamps on hand now, right? That's the only way to not lose your whole Friday night.

Disagree with @nina_sullivan61, why waste money on spares you might never use?
