The week our bar feeder jammed 11 times and I stopped blaming the machine
Everyone in the shop swears the answer is a new bar feeder, but after 11 jams in one week on the same 1.5 inch stock I actually cleaned and re-set the guide bushings and it ran clean for three straight days. The jam was never the machine, it was the 0.008 inch of dried coolant gunk I kept ignoring on my lunch break. Anyone else keep pointing at the equipment when it turns out to be basic upkeep?
