Guy running the counter at Airgas said my tip was too big for 14 gauge and it clicked
He said running a 1.1 tip on thin sheet just blows the kerf wide and makes more dross than it saves, and he was right. Dropped to a 0.9 drag tip on my 45 amp setup and the edges came out way cleaner on a batch of brackets I did Tuesday. What tip size are you all running on 14 gauge, or am I the only one who was fighting this?
