Had to pick between Python and JavaScript for my first project

I went with Python because the syntax looked simpler, but then I hit a wall trying to make a basic website. Spent a whole weekend stuck before I switched. Anyone else start with one language and wish they'd picked the other first?

Ugh, heard that exact story from a friend last month. Picking the right tool for the job matters way more than a "simple" syntax.
