My buddy told me to skip tutorials and just build stuff, and honestly he was way off
He said watching videos was a waste and I should just start a project cold, so I tried building a little to-do app in JavaScript last month and quit on day 3 because I didn't even know how loops worked. Am I wrong for thinking tutorials give you the base you need, or did I just pick the wrong first project?
