Finally gave in and tried a pour over cone after years of drip machines

I always thought pour over was just hipster theater, but my neighbor brought over a cup she made with a $25 ceramic cone and it was cleaner and brighter than anything my Mr. Coffee ever did. I picked one up last week and now I can taste notes in my morning brew I never knew existed. Has anyone else been dragged into pour over kicking and screaming?

Same boat. Bought one expecting to hate it. Now I can't go back.

Stick with it through the first couple days. The first 48 hours are rough cause your body's still used to the old thing, but after that it clicks. I had to mess with the settings a lot at first, tweaking the angle and how much pressure I was using. Once I got that dialed in it was night and day.
