Just realized my daily brew might be funding some shady farm practices

Heard from a friend that the co-op supplying my favorite beans has been accused of underpaying pickers. I love the flavor, but now every sip feels kinda wrong. Stuck between ditching it for a certified fair trade option or just ignoring the guilt. Tbh, it's a real moral headache for a coffee lover.

That "every sip feels kinda wrong" feeling is the worst. I mixed my old beans with a fair trade bag for a while, which helped ease off it without wasting what I had.

Start with 25% new beans, increase slowly.

So how long did that mix take to feel right, @patriciaellis?
