Why does nobody talk about how bad pour-over is when you have a shaky hand?

I was at the Blue Bottle on 5th last Tuesday trying their single origin and my hand wobbled so bad the water channeled straight through the grounds, leaving half the bed dry and the cup tasting like bitter disappointment, has anyone else dealt with this or am I just too jittery for fancy coffee?

Oh man, my friend Sarah had the exact same thing happen at her local coffee shop. She said she was so embarrassed her jittery hand made a mess of the pour over and the barista had to remake it for her. She just sticks to drip coffee now.

Switched to a mug with a wider base, honestly. Made my grip way steadier and I stopped sloshing coffee everywhere.
