Argued with a barista about table turnover times at Caffè Vita in Seattle and now I wonder if I've been the jerk this whole time

She said she'd rather have one person nursing a $5 latte for 4 hours than cycle through 20 quick customers because the vibe matters more than profit, and honestly that made me rethink how I treat coffee shop space like a rented office. Has anyone else had a service worker change your mind on cafe etiquette?

Haha well at least you got your life philosophy lesson along with your latte! Nothing like getting called out by a barista with a sociology degree to make you question your whole existence.

Respect her opinion but a shop can't stay open on good vibes and one latte.
