Home redecorating has my laptop bag in disarray for cafe trips

I decided to redo my living room and now all my charging cords are mixed up. It's a nightmare when I grab my bag to head to a coffee shop. I end up forgetting essential adapters or my power bank. Anyone have tips for keeping a mobile office kit organized during home projects? Lol, this is driving me nuts.

But how often are those found things actually useful? I've found lost stuff in my own mess before, but it's usually just more clutter I'd already replaced. The stress of digging for what I need right now isn't worth the chance of finding an old charger from five years ago.

Yeah, forgetting adapters and your power bank ruins the whole coffee shop trip. I keep a specific zipper pouch just for cords and bricks so everything stays together. When my house was torn up, I made a point to put that pouch back in my bag right after using it. It sounds simple, but having one spot for all that stuff cuts out the chaos. Now I can grab my bag and go without thinking twice.
