My LCS guy roasted my pull list in front of the whole Saturday crowd and I actually went home and fixed it
So last Saturday at the shop on Delancey, this guy Rich who's been running the counter for like 20 years grabs my folder and goes loud enough for everyone to hear, "You're buying 14 books a month but reading 4 of them. That's not a collection, that's a storage problem." I wanted to crawl under the spinner rack. But he was right. I had 30 issues still in the bag from spring. So I sat down and cut my list to 6 titles and started a little notebook of what I actually finished each week. Two years of buying junk I never cracked, gone. Anyone else get a hard truth from their shop guy that actually helped? Curious what y'all's cutoff is for dropping a run you're not feeling.
